Jamie S. Franklin
Jamie S. Franklin is the owner of the Franklin Law Firm. She has litigated extensively in federal and state courts throughout the country on behalf of plaintiffs in the areas of employment discrimination, class actions, wage and hour law, employee benefits, consumer law, qui tam (False Claims Act) and whistleblower litigation, oil and gas royalties, and historic preservation law. She has also successfully resolved many employment disputes in mediation and arbitration.
Ms. Franklin is a member of the Illinois Bar and the Federal Trial Bar, and she is admitted to numerous federal Circuit and District Courts.
She is rated as AV Preeminent, the highest rating awarded by Martindale-Hubbell, the leading independent attorney rating entity.
She has been selected as an Illinois Super Lawyer each year since 2017.
Ms. Franklin received her law degree from the University of Chicago Law School and her undergraduate degree from Duke University. She has twenty years of experience in complex litigation as an associate and partner in Chicago law firms and as the owner of the Franklin Law Firm.

Suzanne Blaz
Suzanne Blaz received B.A.s in History and French from University of Wisconsin-Madison and spent her junior year abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France, studying at the Institut d'Étude Politique and l'Université de Provence. Suzanne then obtained a paralegal certificate with honors in 2002 followed by a Juris Doctor in 2007 from Loyola University of Chicago. While at Loyola, Suzanne was an editor and writer for the Public Interest Law Reporter, and a junior editor for the Children’s Legal Rights Journal.
Suzanne has 20 years’ experience working on cases in both federal and state courts, primarily involving administrative law, disability law, ERISA, labor law (particularly employment discrimination and wage and hour law), and other litigation matters.
Suzanne joined the Law Offices at Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2014. In addition to working with C-K Law Group's civil litigation clinic, Suzanne assists the Director of Externship Programs in the placement of students in both judicial and legal externship positions.
